My Story

I have realized that every connection you make might be the one that gets you where you want to go or sometimes its more like a ladder where every step gets you closer to your goal.
I was stringing racquets in college while working at ‘the court reservation desk’ of a major tennis and swim facility in Southern California. Later I founded a stringing business, opened a retail tennis shop, expanded into regional wholesale distribution to specialty retailers, and ultimately served on the professional tour as both an on-site racquet stringer and a member of a tour stringing team. My expertise in racket stringing spans club levels to professional tournaments, including ATP and WTA tours and official roles at the US Open and Australian Open.
Over the years, I have enjoyed many sides of the tennis business, from working court reservation desks and cleaning courts to selling merchandise and helping players with their equipment. Each experience gave me a deeper respect for the game and the community built around it.
What I loved most was helping players find the right string, racket, and tension setup. I enjoyed the process, the details, and the challenge of helping someone find what truly worked for their game.
That same desire to help players is what drives RacketStringingPro today. This site is here to provide clear, practical advice on tennis strings, racket setups, gear choices, and the common questions players face when trying to improve comfort, confidence, and performance.
I hope you will stay connected, share your knowledge, and learn alongside others. Tennis is a strong community, and that shared passion for the game is what makes it special.
